Sandals Grande St. Lucian sits on a peninsula beside calm Rodney Bay water, with a long beach and views toward historic Pigeon Island. Of the three Sandals resorts on Saint Lucia, this is usually my first beach recommendation and the easiest layout for many travelers. My honest take: it is a very balanced honeymoon resort, but the drive from Hewanorra International Airport is long and the atmosphere can be busier than Halcyon.
