From snorkeling vibrant reefs and sailing along turquoise waters to savoring stunning sunsets and refreshing beverages, I’m well-versed in all the joys these islands offer. Shortly after falling in love with the US Virgin Islands, I ventured out to explore the British Virgin Islands! WHOA!
Unlike some other Caribbean destinations, the BVI offer a more serene and less crowded experience. Many of the islands are relatively undeveloped, providing a sense of exclusivity and privacy.
The BVI boast some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. From the famous white sands of Virgin Gorda’s The Baths to the tranquil shores of Jost Van Dyke’s White Bay, the beaches are perfect for sunbathing, swimming, and relaxing.
My favorite dive spots are here!! The waters around the BVI are known for their incredible clarity and vibrant marine life. This makes for superb snorkeling and diving opportunities, with colorful coral reefs and diverse sea creatures to explore.
The BVI are renowned as one of the best sailing destinations in the world. With calm, protected waters and numerous islands to explore, it’s a sailor’s paradise. Many visitors opt for yacht charters to navigate between the islands. It truly is the VI on the next level of luxury and seclusion.

Flying with a large, multi-generational family doesn’t have to be the only option! I’ve learned to embrace family vacations that are road trip-friendly and I understand the dynamics of traveling with multiple generations. My extensive experience planning trips for families of all sizes, stateside ensures that each journey is smooth, enjoyable, and tailored to your unique needs. Florida has been a frequent destination for this Texas family but we didn't know how much we would LOVE everything Branson has to offer us!!
