Ski Trip Packing List

Make sure to prepare yourself (and your wallet) for the cold climate when going on a ski trip. This will keep you, and your body temperature, at a happy medium and ensure comfort and no frost bite.

⛷On the Slopes Clothing/Accessories:

  • Waterproof and insulated pants, jacket and gloves (inner liners too). You will want this for the snow. If it soaks up any air/moisture from the snow you will be damp and miserable.

  • Eye protection. Trust me, the snow will be bright. Ski Goggles work way better than sunglasses on the slopes and you will want some with an anti-fog coating.

  • Breathable base layers made of moisture-wicking fabric. These will keep you warm while getting rid of any sweat. I advise to wear at least 2 layers - you can always take one off.

  • Thick, wool socks. You can also get toe warmers to make sure they don’t get too cold.

  • You will probably get a helmet with your equipment - use this!

  • Neck gaiter/scarf. Your face will feel the cold wind going down the mountain.

❄️Apres Ski:

  • Waterproof snow boots with a good tread.

  • Warm hats/scarves/gloves/socks.

  • Cozy and warm sweaters/hoodies/loungewear and pajamas.

  • Fleece lined everything! Especially leggings to go under pants.

  • SUNSCREEN! And chapstick with SPF. Sunburns happen much faster in thinner air with high elevation.

  • Lotion. You will end up like a prune without it in the dry/frigid air.

  • Swim suit for the hot tub!

If you want any specific reqs, just ask! Happy Snow Days!
